FlexScan EV Series

inimize your running costs while bringing EIZO’s
most ecological features to your office, control room,
or trading floor. The FlexScan EV (EcoView) series features a
compact design, LED backlights, and several automated energy-
saving technologies. The series is comprised of five models in 3
screen sizes (23", 24.1", and 27") and two panel technologies (IPS and TN).
Flicker-Free Images
Due to the way brightness is controlled on LED back-
lights, many people perceive flicker on their screen
which causes eye fatigue. The FlexScan EV series
utilizes a hybrid solution to regulate brightness and
make flicker unperceivable without compromising
color stability.
Reduce Brightness, Optimize Energy Use
A new feature called EcoView Optimizer 2 saves
energy by reducing the backlight brightness and in-
creasing the gain. To maintain image quality, EcoView
Optimizer 2 only boosts the gain with a screen consist-
ing of mostly dark content because the accompanying
reduction in brightness is almost unnoticeable.
Preset Modes for Optimum Viewing
5 preset modes ensure you always get the right setting
for whatever application you are using.
LED Backlights – Less Power, Longer Life
Compared to conventional CCFL backlights, LED
backlights last longer and consume less power. They
are also mercury-free to have minimal impact on the
environment when they are eventually disposed of.
Tireless Eyes
To prevent eye fatigue, a brightness sensor called Auto
EcoView detects the changes in the ambient bright-
ness that occur throughout the day and automatically
adjusts the screen to the ideal brightness level.
Presence Sensor for Energy Savings
A presence sensor called EcoView Sense 2 prompts
the monitor to switch to power save mode when you
are absent and then power on again when you return.
It even works in a multi-monitor setup so all monitors
remain on when you're at your desk.
5-Year Warranty
A manufacturer’s 5-year warranty that
covers all components including the
LCD panel ensures a long service life.
This warranty is 2-years or 67% longer than the
standard 3-year warranty of most monitor brands for
significantly lower running costs.
Getting Connected
Three input terminals are included for connecting
to PCs. In addition, a USB hub and headphone/
audio jacks are conveniently located on the side of
the monitor.
D-Sub input not included with the FlexScan EV2736W.
Built-in Speakers
Dual 1-watt speakers are integrated into the back
of the monitor to provide audio capability without
increasing the bezel size.
